Abigail (2024) English Movie Review :- I think they made a mistake by mentioning it is a monster kid movie. Well, it could have been a wonderful surprise twist in the plot. But they spoilt it by revealing it in the trailer and even movie poster. The plot of the movie is pretty simple, a gang of strangers with sudo names kidnap a rich man’s young daughter. Unaware that her father is a dreaded gangster. However, they are into greater danger which they are unaware. Team Radio Silence had made the wonderful “Ready or Not” that would become cult classic sooner or later. Is it as good as that movie? Well, Abigail is a blast of a movie. Like “Ready or Not” this one is filled with gore. Just try to ignore it! The star cast excels in this movie. I liked Melissa Barrera’s character and wanted her character to badly survive in the end. She does have amazing screen presence. Also Alisha Weir as the titular character is just amazing. Casting her as a ballerina dancer was something fresh and well done. This one engaging watch from start to finish. My advice to you is see it without going through reviews and I am sure you’ll end up liking it just like I did. My rating is a solid 8/10. Highly recommended.
