I like watching Malayalam movies though I don’t understand this language because they make wonderful movies which are strong on stories and characters, rather than superstars.I haven’t seen Deepika’s Chapak yet. Hence, I can’t comment on that one. However, this one felt so realistic.The performance by Parvathy Thiruvothu was simply superb! She became the character Pallavi, a strong-willed woman who has always aspired to become a pilot. How her dreams get shattered when the person whom she loves most becomes possessive about her and attacks he with acid. Then how she gets back on her feet with sheer determination and will power forms the crux of the movie.Director Manu Ashokan and writer Writers: Bobby, Sanjay should be appreciated for coming up with such a touching and moving story, which is an inspiration. Not all men are bad, if one tries to destroy Pallavi’s life, the other tries to help her to stand back on her feet.I just loved Tovino Thomas’s character Vishal Rajashekharan. We require more men like him in our society. I thank Veena Ramachandra, my cousin for recommending me this wonderful movie.I watched this one on NETFLIX. My rating is 4.5/5. Highly recommended. Please watch this one.
