This is the first book in the DI Robyn Carter series by Carol E. Wyer. There were too many characters which made this read a bit confusing and the best thing was that suspense kept me glued till the end. I started liking DI Robyn Carter and this the third series I have read after DI Erika Foster and DI Kim Stone. Then and now format of the book was confusing apart from many characters at the first part of the book, but things improved as the story progressed. Then suspense took over and just when I thought I found the killer there was a twist which proved that I was wrong. It went on like that almost till the end. In that way, I feel the thriller was very well done. Though the story was simple, it was presented in an interesting way which made it really engrossing. That is the way thrillers should be! What’s more? I went ahead and bought all the books in this series. The series has 4 books so far. Hope to get new book in this series by the time I reach the fourth book. It was really a very good read. It is surely one of the good thrillers I have read and 5 stars from me for this book!
