The plot of the movie is something different and relevant for today’s generation who can’t live without their smart phones. Forget losing one’s smart phone, many would start panicking if their mobile battery starts to drain. I feel this one is well made 3D movie in India and technically it is very good. You can’t bend a smartphone as it is not flexible, and the antagonist who is made up of many smart phones attached together and his moments speaks volumes about animation.

The best thing about the movie is Shankar’s vision that transforms wonderfully on screen with his team’s technical magic. The action scenes with CGI shot in 3D format makes for wonderful visual treat.

The other best thing about this movie is Arnie not being part of the movie as Akshay Kumar fits perfectly as the birdman. I think no one else could have done justice to this role. He is almost brilliant as the bird lover in the flash back and I started wondering at his transformation as the menacing antagonist. Superstar Rajni is amazing as 2.0 and then 3.0. Rajni and Akshay are perfect match in this extended battle that seems to be stretched. Amy Jackson is a perfect fit as an attractive robot.

I think as this movie is made keeping international audience in mind, so songs and comedy scenes doesn’t find a place like in its prequel. I felt it is a welcome relief as it would have prolonged the movie. However, the last song in the end credits is impressive. The movie carry’s a good message for the humanity at large, the world is not for just humans. If you see from another’s point of view then humans are just expanding on a rapid scale, sending other spices into extinction.

The movie certainly has an international feel and look. I would highly recommend it to those who haven’t watched it yet. See it in 3D! My rating is 4/5.
