“What would you do if your character from the story you have been writing comes alive and sits next to you in flesh and blood?”

“Would you try to play God with him/her as you can decide on their life?”

The above questions comes to your mind when you start watching this wonderful movie, which is one of my all time fav movies. Also part of my personal collection.

Again, it is from the director who gave another wonderful movie named “Little Miss Sunshine”, the review of which would follow sometime soon.

It is rare to find something innovative or original these days. Considering that, Ruby Sparks is refreshing original and something the lines of another wonderful movie “Stranger than fiction”. Yes, this very thought had come to my mind much earlier than watching these two movies.  I had wondered, how it would be if one of my characters become real all of a sudden and sat next to me? Well, to realise that my thought had been materialised in form of two movies which I have mentioned above was like a wonderful dream coming true!

I really enjoyed watching the above movie for the above mentioned reasons. Further, what made me to watch this particular movie is that the main character has the name of my best friend, Ruby.

I have watched this movie more than once and loved it every time I watched it.
