Solitary Pain

A Poem

Let me be your voice
in your solitary pain

It’s the common thing

between us, my friend

You can’t hide it

While I can’t show it

Life means the same

to you and to me

Yet, the way we lead

it only differs

How does it matter

to have joy that

flashes once in a while

Whereas gloom has

spread like the

endless dark sky

Dreams broken

Self-Confidence shattered

Hopes slowly vanishing

Yet, we are dead

though physically alive

So let’s continue

to live as long as

we can

embracing our

solitary pain.
