He heard a feeble ring coming from his mobile, and the voice on the line said something inaudible.
He woke up from his sleep with a jerk, and he saw that his mobile screen displayed one call from an unknown number.
His heart started beating fast as he started to play the recorded call.

He gets a dream in which he answers a call. The voice is inaudible. He wakes up suddenly and checks his mobile to see a call from unknown number. As he is not clear what the caller said in his dream, so he replays the recorded call in his mobile.

He is scared because what had happened in his dream/nightmare has actually happened in reality. Further, he doesn’t know what the caller had said, which he is going to listen in the recorder call now.
